Pride Health is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist (OT) for Home Health in Kent, WA. The OT will perform comprehensive evaluations, design and update Plans of Care, and address mobility, cognition, ADLs, and home safety, coordinating care with physicians and caregivers.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours weekly, 8-hour shifts. Local travel within 60 miles is required; Homecare Homebase experience is preferred. This role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
Minimum 2 years OT experience in acute care/rehabilitation or related clinical setting.
Current CPR Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and clinical assessments.
Develop, implement, update, and evaluate Plans of Care based on physician orders and patient goals.
Assess and treat deficits related to mobility, strength, coordination, balance, cognition, self-care, and functional independence.
Evaluate patients’ ADLs, work, leisure, and home management tasks.
Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, splints, and environmental modifications to improve safety and independence.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ROM, mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home safety, fall prevention, and use of assistive equipment.

Duties

Evaluate patients' occupational performance in activities of daily living (ADLs), work, leisure, and home management tasks.
Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, splints, and environmental modifications to improve patient safety and independence.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve range of motion, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home safety, fall prevention, and use of assistive equipment.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) License in the practicing state.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or related clinical setting.
Current CPR Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.
