Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to support a client facility in Olympia, Washington. This contract position runs 13 weeks with potential extension, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and pay of $52.00 to $53.00 per hour.

The OT will perform home health evaluations and interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, and safety. Licensed in WA and with at least 1 year of home health experience preferred, candidates should be proficient with HCHB and EMR and able

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Washington State OT license.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience preferred.
• Experience with HCHB, EMR, and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations in patient homes and set goals.
• Provide interventions to improve ADLs, mobility, safety, and quality of life.
• Complete recertifications, reassessments, and discharge planning per regulations.
• Document encounters in HCHB and EMR accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers to implement care plans.

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our client's healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington.

Job Details

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Location: Olympia, WA

Float / Coverage Area: Up to a 50-mile radius from Olympia, WA

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possibility of extension

Pay Range: $52.00 to $53.00/hour

Mileage Reimbursement Rate: $0.51 / mile

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments in patient homes to identify functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions focused on improving independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and overall quality of life.
• Complete patient recertifications, reassessments, and discharge evaluations while ensuring compliance with agency, regulatory, and payer requirements.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• License(s): Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License
• Certification(s): Current BLS Certification (preferred)
• Years of experience: Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience preferred
