Pride Health is seeking a Travel Home health Occupational Therapist to support a client facility in Danville, Virginia. The role offers a 13-week local contract with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include comprehensive home health OT evaluations, plan development, and education for patients and caregivers, along with CMS/OASIS documentation. A Virginia OT license and CPR certification are required.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Virginia OT license and valid driver's license.
• CPR Certification required.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations including ADLs, fine motor skills, and home safety.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with care teams.
• Provide OT interventions to improve independence, mobility, and safety at home.

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Home health Occupational Therapist to support our client's healthcare facility in Danville, Virginia.

Job Details

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Location: Danville, VA

Float / Coverage Area: City of Danville and Pittsylvania County, VA

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $50.00 to $53.00/hour

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patients' functional status, activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and home safety needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve patient independence, mobility, safety, and overall quality of life in the home setting.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans, functional limitations, adaptive equipment, and progress toward goals.
• Complete timely documentation, progress notes, reassessments, discharge summaries, and OASIS/CMS-required documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Education: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• License(s):
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) License in the State of Virginia
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Certification(s): Current CPR Certification
• Years of experience:
  • Home Health Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Skilled Home Health experience strongly preferred
