Job summary

Staff Today is looking for a local contract CT Technologist in Mammoth Lakes, California. In this role, you will perform a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures while ensuring quality assurance for department equipment and supporting Radiologists in special procedures.

Overview

Staff Today is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Mammoth Lakes, California.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of Radiographic and Computed Tomography procedures at a skilled technical level, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
• Performs Radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic examinations (pediatric, adult, trauma, routine, portables, STAT, surgery) as needed.
• Assists Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and documents information for physicians to dictate.
• Ensures quality assurance for department equipment (tracking mechanical failures, submitting service requests, ensuring equipment is in good condition).
• Monitors inventory and supplies and maintains appropriate stock levels.
• Supports Radiologist or medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while practicing safe operation of equipment.
• Verifies exam requests and consents; may cover in the Orthopedic clinic for part of the time.
