Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Manager of Community Engagement & External Affairs to support renewable energy projects across the United States. This role sits within a broader communications function and collaborates with development and operations teams to ensure strong stakeholder relationships and effective project messaging.

The position involves leading engagement efforts, building relationships with community leaders, and coordinating outreach and events across multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in communications, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement (energy/infrastructure preferred).
• Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel (30-40%).

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement across all project stages.
• Build relationships with community leaders, officials, and partners.
• Develop outreach materials and manage public-facing communications.
• Coordinate community events and charitable initiatives.
• Identify risks, address concerns, and support project messaging.
• Manage external PR partners and ensure consistent communications.
