Job summary

XPO is hiring a Class B Local Truck Driver in Asheville, NC. You will drive a straight truck, load and unload freight, and provide excellent service to customers while adhering to state regulations and safety standards.

Eligible candidates enjoy full benefits on day one, a flexible schedule, and potential for education assistance within a large logistics network. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (26,001 lb or more).
• Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate according to state regulations for intrastate straight trucks.
• Use forklift and pallet jack to load/unload freight.
