Job summary

XPO is seeking a Class B Local Truck Driver in Charlotte, NC. The role requires a Class B CDL without air brake restrictions and a clean DOT history. Expect a flexible schedule, including day, night, and weekend shifts, with pay starting at $27.36/hour and comprehensive benefits from day one.

You will load/unload freight, operate a straight truck, and provide excellent customer service, potentially generating sales leads while complying with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with no air brake restriction
• Safe driving record and history
• DOT drug test and pre-hire test
• Ability to obtain hazmat/tank endorsements within 90 days
• Ability to pass company DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR 26,001 lb. or more)
• Drive with safety and excellent customer service, including generating sales leads
• Load and unload freight
• Operate truck per state regulations for intrastate driving
• Use forklift and pallet jack to load/unload freight
