Job summary

Estes Express is seeking qualified CDL-A drivers to operate tractor-trailers and transport freight across diverse routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain required records, and ensure safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities include dock work, loading/unloading freight, and providing courteous service to customers. Endorsements for HazMat, Tanker and Doubles are preferred; candidates must reside within 75 miles of the Service Center and pass

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
21 years of age and a valid Class A CDL.
Must pass FMCSA medical exam and drug screen.
HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements preferred.
Must reside within 75 miles of the Service Center.
Able to operate forklift (minimum 7,500 lb).
Able to meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate all types of equipment and drive tractor/trailer in compliance with laws and company policies.
Maintain records per local, state and federal regulations.
Inspect vehicle pre-trip and post-trip; report maintenance needs to Fleet Services.
Load/unload freight; perform dock work as required.
Provide safe and courteous service to customers and the public.
Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials and drive schedules as needed.
