Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Local Class A Driver in Douglas, GA. You will handle local truckload deliveries, typically drop and hook, with routes within 100 miles and drive an automatic 53’ truck/dry van.

This role offers weekends off, home daily, no touch freight, and a competitive hourly wage plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You’ll join a team that values safety and reliability, requires CDL-A with at least one year of experience, and offers benefits and long-term career growth

Qualifications

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van.
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr., plus a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

($2,500 paid at 30 days and $2,500 paid at 90 days)

Shift(s):

4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:30pm - 5:00am

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
