Job summary

48forty Solutions in Douglas, GA is seeking a Local Class A Driver. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, and you’ll drive an automatic 53' truck/dry van.

This role offers $22.00/hr, a 4th shift (Fri-Sun 5:30pm–5:00am), home daily, weekends off, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. Equal opportunity employer.

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past year.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid CDL-A.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• PSP score of 10 or below in past 3 years.

Overview

As a Local Class A Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$22.00/hr.

Shift(s):

4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:30pm - 5:00am

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
