Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a driver to perform daily route deliveries across assigned areas, ensuring on-time accuracy and safety. You will inspect vehicles, assemble orders, and maintain records while following DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualified candidates have a CDL, at least 1 year of route experience, and strong communication skills. Benefits include health coverage and paid time off, with a focus on reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must follow DOT and FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• 1 year of route driving experience required.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and related duties to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service when needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery and maintain accurate delivery windows.
• Place delivered products in storage locations per customer requests and ensure no damage.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Read maps and follow directions.
• Manage multiple tasks and ensure proper use of time, equipment, and materials.
• Comply with DOT regulations, safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle logs and records per BEK policies.
• Review customer invoices to determine items moved and delivered.
