Ben E. Keith Company is hiring a dedicated route delivery driver in Alabama. You will perform product deliveries, inspect vehicles, and assemble orders to ensure timely, accurate distribution to customer businesses.

The role requires a valid State Class A CDL, DOT compliance, strong communication, and the ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs. You’ll follow safety policies and maintain records and invoices.

Qualifications

• Must know and adhere to DOT regulations.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license in residence state.
• Ability to follow regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and related duties.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and request service as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses.
• Place delivered products in assigned storage locations per customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Read maps and follow geographic directions.
• Manage multiple assignments and use time, equipment, and materials wisely.
• Follow transportation policies and safety guidelines (DOT, food safety).
• Maintain records including vehicle logs, cargo and billing statements.
