Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking an experienced route delivery driver to service our beverage and food distribution network.

You will perform daily route deliveries, inspect and maintain vehicle readiness, and assemble orders for on-time customer delivery while upholding safety and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes DOT compliance, CDL requirements, accurate paperwork, and strong communication with the Transportation Supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• DOT and FMCSA regulations knowledge required.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience required.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence.
• Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and request service/repairs as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery and maintain accurate delivery windows.
• Maintain records including vehicle logs, cargo and billing statements.
• Turn in receipts and monies received from customer deliveries.
• Report issues to Transportation Supervisor and communicate delays immediately.
