Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a route delivery driver to support our food and beverage distribution operations. You will perform product deliveries along assigned routes, inspect equipment, assemble orders, and ensure accurate, timely deliveries to customer locations.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL A, comply with DOT rules, and maintain vehicle logs and paperwork. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Minimum 1 year of route driving experience
• DOT certification required
• Valid State Class A CDL license in residence state
• Read maps and follow directions
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Complete administrative tasks and paperwork

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery and maintain delivery windows.
• Place delivered products in assigned storage locations according to customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered products with no damage.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Follow DOT regulations, safety guidelines and company policies.
• Review invoices to determine items moved and delivered.
• Turn in receipts and monies collected from deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle logs, cargo and billing statements as per BEK policy
