Job summary

Colville Transport in Fairbanks, AK is hiring a Fuel Hostler / Local CDL Driver (Class A) to perform in-town bulk fuel deliveries. You will be home daily and play a critical role in safely delivering fuel to customers while maintaining compliance with safety standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of CDL experience, tanker and hazmat endorsements, a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and a clean driving record. You’ll work in a safety-focused team committed to service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CDL‑required vehicles.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Meets FMCSA driver qualifications and safety requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport bulk fuel products to and from customer tanks and refinery locations.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with weekly inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Respond promptly to spills and complete required documentation.
