Job summary

Crowley is seeking a fuel attendant with a Class B or A CDL and Hazmat endorsement to join our Alaska operations. You will perform daily DVIRs, inspect facilities, and conduct fuel transfers to and from company tanks, barges, and aircraft, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities also include quality testing, inventory control, and assisting with customer service and spill response. This full-time role requires outdoor work in all weather and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B or A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
• At least 1 year of experience driving straight trucks.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license.
• Able to wear a half face respirator.
• Must be able to climb stairs up to 50 ft.
• Requires work outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily vehicle inspections and submits DVIR.
• Inspects facilities prior to transfer operations.
• Performs Fuels Quality testing per TOM.
• Maintains equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Performs inventory control of bulk fuel tanks and tank trucks.
• Delivers and receives fuel to/from company tanks, customers tanks, barges, and aircraft.
• Handles customer service activities, including reconciling pump readings, slips, and charges.
• Acts as first responder to any oil spill incident.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures.
• Able to work overtime as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
