Job summary

TA Services is seeking a driver to move freight and support warehousing operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. The role involves driving trucks, performing inspections, and assisting with loading/unloading tasks as needed.

The candidate should have a valid Class A CDL, be comfortable with manual transmission, and adapt to both indoor and outdoor work settings. Prior DOT safety knowledge is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Experience operating commercial motor vehicles and performing inspections.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Manual Transmission experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including light preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all commercial motor vehicle regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions safely.
• Provide warehouse support and assist with general operations as needed.

Job Description

Days and Shift Information

• 1st and 2nd Shift


• Might be needed to drive Box truck and Sprinter van at times

Key Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials safely and efficiently


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including light preventative maintenance


• Ensure compliance with all commercial motor vehicle regulations and company policies


• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions safely


• Provide warehouse support and assist with general operations as needed


• Combination of driving and warehouse responsibilities


• Fast-paced logistics and transportation environment


• Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions


• Physically active role requiring movement, lifting, and equipment operation

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Valid Class A CDL required

Experience

• Minimum of 2years of Class A driving experience


• Experience operating commercial motor vehicles and performing inspections


• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards


• Warehouse or logistics experience is a plus


• Manual Transmission experience required

Additional Information

• Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
