Job summary

TA Services in Texas is hiring a professional CDL driver to move freight and support our logistics operations. You will handle on-road driving, complete pre-trip inspections, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations across multiple facilities.

We reward safety, reliability, and collaborative teamwork. The role offers 10–12 hour shifts, home nightly, and a benefits package including PTO, vacation, health coverage, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience with at least 1 year on the road.
• Must be at least 23 years old and have a clean MVR in the past 3 years.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or distribution centers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.

Days and Shift Information:

• 10-12 hours a day. Starts at 6AM. - Mon - Friday - Home nightly
• Flexibility (Overtime)

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, on-the-road and loading dock environments
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Physical work, including occasional lifting, climbing, and extended sitting while driving

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Minimum of 1yearof CDL driving
• Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred
• Must be at least 23 years old
• No DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 years
• No more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 years
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen
• Manual Transmission

Pay/Benefits/Perks

• $24/hr +Additional drop pay for every load delivered
• Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
