Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul rail-container freight in Southern California. You’ll enjoy home-daily routes with a Friday-Tuesday schedule, a $5,000 bonus, and a set pay structure with no-touch freight.

Average annual pay is $83,000 with weekly earnings around $1,450. Expect 900 miles per week, hazmat loads paid at $30 per load and refrigerated loads at $35 per load. Start times around 2 PM–7 PM, 10–12 hour days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement not required at hire; reimbursed if obtained.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rail-container freight from the South Gate ramp/terminal to customers throughout Southern California.
• Occasional Central Valley deliveries (Bakersfield, Lost Hills, Maricopa, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo).
• Handle drop/hook and live load/unload; no-touch freight.
• Pick up empty containers and return them to the ramp/terminal.
• Optional 6th day for additional income.

Pay Details

$83,000 Average Annual Pay

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,450
• $5,000 bonus
• $3/day increase after 1 year of service
• Additional $3/day yearly increases up to $36/day
• $30 per load for Hazmat loads
• $35 per load for refrigerated loads
• Approximately 900 miles/week

Job Details

• Deliver rail-container freight from the South Gate ramp/terminal to customers throughout Southern California

• No-touch freight

Job Requirements
