Job summary

Amwaste is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate waste collection trucks on a designated route, providing courteous service to customers and communities.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, route servicing, customer interaction, and compliance with safety standards. Two years of heavy-truck driving experience and a Class B CDL are required, with no overnight travel and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route to the disposal site and service each customer as identified.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and others daily to ensure routes are serviced timely.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and DVIR, and other reports as required.
• Follow safety policies and maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime.
