Job summary

Amwaste is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate waste collection trucks on a designated route, engaging with customers and supporting community service. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle per policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route to the disposal site.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and staff to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag per procedures.
• Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials.
• Clean the area after spills and follow all safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and minimize downtime on each trip.
• Complete required route productivity sheets and safety reports.
• Meet productivity standards and ensure timely customer service.
• Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
