Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a Class B CDL driver to operate a range of equipment and haul freight across routes in the United States. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure FMCSA compliance, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires navigating diverse terrains, meeting tight schedules, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 21 years of age if going interstate with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center or work assignment.
• Air brake endorsement required if equipped with air brakes.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions, including manual transmission and tire chaining.
• Safely operate a Class B CDL Straight Truck in freight transportation per FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation of tractor and trailer.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
• Dock work to include loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Drive various routes and terrains as required by business needs.
