Job summary

Four Brothers Trucking is seeking a local tractor-trailer driver for a steady shuttle operation based in Windsor Locks, CT. Enjoy home daily, no-touch freight, and year-round refrigerated loads. You’ll run drop-and-hook reefer freight between distribution centers with 5–10 shuttles per day on consistent local routes.

Slip seating and uniforms provided; NYC deliveries are not required. Requirements include 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, reliable transport, safety and service focus,

Qualifications

• 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Comfortable with slip seating.
• Strong safety record and customer service skills.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections required.
• Willingness to assist with store deliveries and other tasks.
• Able to operate refrigerated equipment in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic tractors on local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Haul refrigerated freight between distribution centers.
• Assist with additional local work when available.
• Maintain safety and customer service standards.
• Drop-and-hook freight where applicable.
