Job summary

Linde plc in San Jose, CA is seeking a CDL driver for a 1st shift to deliver to customers, complete paperwork, and maintain safety and compliance. You will perform pre-trip inspections and build strong customer relationships to help the business grow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CDL Class A or B with hazmat endorsement, and at least 2 years of driving experience. You must be 21+ years old, pass a DOT medical exam, and be able to lift 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older; hazmat endorsement required or to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past two years; no alcohol-related convictions in last ten years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate; able to lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day; touch freight and complete paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Comply with DOT regulations for hazardous materials shipping orders.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify needs for vehicle maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
