Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials up to 3 tons, performing on-site deliveries at our Washington store. Deliveries must be completed safely and within state and federal guidelines.

You will load, unload, verify shipments, maintain logs, and communicate with your supervisor. CDL class A or B with air brake endorsement is required, and you must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a road test.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Drivers must meet state requirements, including a valid driver's license with CDL class A or B and air brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload materials to customers.
• Protect shipments and prevent damage.
• Operate commercial trucks safely and professionally.
• Report vehicle and equipment needing service or repair.
• Maintain trip logs and required documentation.
• Verify load against shipping papers and prepare receipts.
• Assist in keeping the yard clean and orderly and support building loads.
