Job summary

GFL Environmental is hiring CDL Drivers to join our Green for Life team. As a Residential Driver, you’ll operate rear-load trucks on local routes, collecting waste, yard waste, and recyclables while representing our company in the community.

We offer home nightly routes, competitive rates starting at $27/hour, a modern fleet focused on safety, and opportunities for career growth through ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL or CDL school certificate.
• Commitment to safety-sensitive functions and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear-load trucks on local routes to collect waste, yard waste, and recyclables.
• Utilize hydraulic systems and compaction units with precision.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide courteous service to neighbors and ensure routes are completed accurately.
