Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL driver to operate local roll-off routes, safely hauling waste, construction debris, or recyclables with precision and professionalism.

You will load and unload 10–40 yard containers, secure loads with cables and tarps, perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, and navigate tight sites in all weather. Local hours mean Home Every Night, with competitive compensation and a solid benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience (Roll-off experience preferred).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb truck steps/beds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive roll-off trucks to haul waste, construction debris, or recyclables on local routes.
• Operate hydraulic hoists and cables to load, unload, and position 10-to-40-yard open-top containers and industrial compactors.
• Navigate tight construction sites and commercial properties with expert mirror and maneuvering skills.
• Inspect loads, secure cables/tarping, and complete daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
