Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to join our Boise, ID team. This part-time role offers home daily, weekends off, no touch freight, and competitive hourly pay. Typical shifts include Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00pm–6:00pm and Saturday on-call 7:00am–3:00pm.

You will perform local truckload deliveries, mostly drop and hook, with routes within about 150 miles. A valid CDL-A, 1 year within 3 years, and passing a DOT physical are required; read, write and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• DOT road test completed.
• PSP score of 10 or below in past 3 years; higher scores reviewed.
• No more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR preferred; English reading/writing/speaking proficient.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 150 miles; ~2-4 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for part-time shifts.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$27.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm; and Saturday + On Call 7:00am - 3:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 miles) making about (2-4 of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (Part time) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
