Job summary

48forty Solutions in Boise, ID is seeking a CDL-A driver for local deliveries. This part-time role offers competitive pay, home daily, weekends off, and no-touch freight. Shifts include Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00pm–6:00pm and Saturday on-call 7:00am–3:00pm.

You will handle local truckload deliveries, drop and hook trailers within about 150 miles, and operate an automatic 53’ truck. A valid CDL-A, DOT physical, and clean PSP are required.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid CDL-A license for commercial driving.
• DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT physician is required.
• No disqualification to drive and clean PSP scores as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within ~150 miles; 2–4 routes per shift.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck for part-time shifts.

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$25.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm; and Saturday + On Call 7:00am - 3:00pm

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (150 miles) making about (2-4 of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for (Part time) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
