Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a local CDL Class B route driver in the Houston, TX area to deliver our brands to grocery stores and ensure on-shelf availability. The role offers a starting pay of $56,000 with a Monday–Friday schedule (occasional Saturdays), plus benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and a uniform/footwear allowance.

You will load, unload, collect proofs of delivery, use handheld devices, maintain DOT

Qualifications

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and 21+.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product.
• DOT medical certification, background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to grocery stores to ensure products are available on store shelves.
• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products, place product in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections.
