Job summary

Schwan's Company in Virginia is seeking a local CDL Class B route driver to deliver product to grocery stores and keep shelves stocked.

You will complete daily routes, unload, collect proof of delivery, and use handheld devices while building in-store relationships in a fast-paced environment.

We offer competitive pay and benefits, a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays, and opportunities for career advancement. Must meet DOT requirements and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift 35 pounds.
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to grocery stores and ensure products are available on shelves.
• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and place them in back room; collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld device to complete daily tasks and maintain records.
• Build in-store relationships and adhere to DOT rules and truck inspections.
