Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a dependable CDL Class B route driver to deliver product, place orders, and merchandise in grocery stores across our distribution area. You will help ensure product availability on shelves and build solid in-store relationships with store personnel.

The role operates Monday to Friday with occasional weekend travel, requires a 21+ age, a Class B CDL with airbrake, ability to lift 35 pounds, and compliance with DOT and background checks.

Qualifications

• Previous DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage while delivering product
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space
• Merchandise product and rotate displays in stores
• Use handheld devices and sales software to complete daily tasks
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections
