TransForce is seeking CDL B drivers for dedicated local delivery operations in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The role involves delivering wholesale electrical supplies and may include occasional flatbed assignments.

Pay is $25.00 per hour with overtime time and a half after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with training on strapping and cargo securement and a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), and referral program.

Qualifications

• Requires Valid CDL B license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in 3 years.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL B vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Deliver wholesale electrical supplies to customers.
• Load and unload freight using a pallet jack.
• Occasionally operate a flatbed truck.
• Strap and secure cargo per training and safety procedures.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Employment type: Dedicated
• Freight: Wholesale electrical supplies
• Handling: Light touch and touch freight
• Equipment: Tractor-trailer and pallet jack
• Flatbed operations: Drivers may occasionally operate a flatbed truck
• Training: Training is provided on proper strapping and cargo securement procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL B vehicle on assigned local delivery routes
• Deliver wholesale electrical supplies to customers
• Load and unload freight using a pallet jack
• Occasionally operate a flatbed truck as needed
• Properly strap and secure cargo in accordance with training and safety procedures
• Complete required vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
• Valid CDL B license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to safely handle touch freight and operate a pallet jack
• Willingness to learn proper flatbed cargo securement procedures
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
