TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver to support local transportation operations in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This role offers consistent weekday work, daily home time, and potential weekend opportunities on a long-term flex schedule.

You will operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local routes, hauling general freight and Ecolab equipment, with 1–2 hauls per day. Requirements include 1+ year driving experience, clean MVR, and DOT/FMCSA compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on local routes
• Transport general freight and Ecolab equipment throughout the service area
• Complete approximately one to two hauls per day
• Manage live-load, live-unload, and possible drop-and-hook assignments
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch

Pay & Schedule

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with flexible weekend work available
• Start time: Varies; drivers typically start around 4:30 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Long-term flex
• Average workload: One to two hauls per day
• Service area: Maryland, Virginia, and Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Freight: General freight and Ecolab equipment; no hazardous materials
• Equipment: Tractor with a standard 53-foot trailer
• Handling: Light-touch work, live loading and unloading, and possible drop-and-hook assignments
• Transmission: Automatic-only drivers are accepted
