TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL B Driver for local delivery work in the Glen Burnie area. In this role, you will deliver produce, paper goods, and appliances while providing safe and reliable customer service.

This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a consistent support from a dedicated team, a Monday–Friday schedule starting between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and competitive weekly pay with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class B.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle while completing local deliveries.
• Deliver produce, paper goods, and appliances to customers.
• Load, unload, and move freight using pallet jacks and handcarts.
• Handle heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Provide professional and dependable service at each delivery location.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.

About the Position

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $24.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Service area: Primarily the local DMV area
• Freight: Produce, paper goods, and appliances
• Equipment: Pallet jacks and handcarts
• Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries requiring the safe lifting and movement of heavy items
