Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking Class B Drivers to safely operate delivery vehicles and make site deliveries.

You will perform pre-route inspections, ensure proper loading, and assist with general warehousing to support routes. The position starts early (4:30am) with a pay rate of $24/hour and requires a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL license required.
• DOT Medical Examiners Card required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and pull heavy objects (70+ lbs).
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and reliably operate delivery vehicles.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Branches.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight.
• General warehousing in support of delivery route(s).
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

• Safely and reliably operate delivery vehicles.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Branches.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight.
• General warehousing in support of delivery route(s).
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule has a 4:30am start time. Pay rate is $24/hour.

What You Will Bring:

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license.
• DOT Medical Examiners Card.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• May require lifting and pulling of heavy objects(70+lbs).
• Driving delivery vehicle with GVW up-to, or over 26,000 lbs.
• Safe operation of a forklift or other Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Steel Toed Shoes required.
