Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems in North Liberty, IA is hiring a Residential Driver to operate a collection truck on assigned routes, collect waste and recyclables, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections. You will communicate with dispatch, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and follow DOT regulations to ensure safe, timely service.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience. Local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential collection truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on assigned routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors regarding issues or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when necessary.
