Position Details

We are seeking a skilled and reliable part-time CDL A Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in BRIDGEWATER, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exercising safe and efficient practices when operating equipment, adhering to all federal and state driving regulations. Preferred 1 year of spotting and/or 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely moves and service to our customers and team. Responsibilities and Requirements

• Operate company vehicles safely, complying with all CDL regulations and company policies
• Transport trailers to and from designated locations safely and timely
• Perform routine vehicle inspections
• Adhere to safety policies and federal, state, and industry regulations
• Handle equipment and products properly for customers
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members; maintain accurate logs

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
• Proven experience with a satisfactory MVR
• Current DOT Physical and Medical Card
• Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations
• Ability to handle long hours and weather conditions
• Strong organizational, communication, and physical ability skills
