Job summary

Larimer County's Solid Waste Department seeks a licensed Truck Driver (CDL-A) to transport solid waste between transfer stations and landfills. You will secure loads, complete required documentation, and perform basic vehicle maintenance while following safety and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license by date of hire.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (N) by date of hire; restrictions must be met.
• Two years of experience in commercial waste hauling or similar heavy vehicle driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport solid waste from transfer stations to landfill sites and end markets.
• Secure loads in compliance with DOT safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
