Job summary

MSI is seeking an entry-level Class A Truck Driver to deliver flooring and related products to local destinations with multiple stops. You will help load/unload cargo, secure loads, and maintain DOT-compliant logs while delivering excellent customer service daily.

Requirements include a High School diploma, valid Class A CDL, 1+ year driving experience, and DOT pre-employment completion. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time, safety-focused role with home daily in Omaha, NE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A Driver’s License.
• 1+ year verifiable driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles.
• Experience making local deliveries with multiple stops.
• Completion of a driving test and all DOT pre-employment requirements.
• Ability to maintain a legal and accurate logbook.
• Basic ability to interpret bills of lading and picking sheets.

Responsibilities

Job description

Summary: As a Class A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering merchandise to various locations with multiple stops per day and returning home daily. You will ensure the safe and timely delivery of products while adhering to transportation regulatory compliance.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM

Seniority Level: Entry Level

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $25.75 to $28.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $64,200 and $82,400 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

This Role Has The Following Physical Demands

• Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
• Able to lift and transfer 55lbs.
• Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
• Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
• Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
• Able to work at elevated height of 72” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
• Able to work at lowered height of 6” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
