Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Northborough, MA. This role operates a day cab tractor with a 48’ or 53’ trailer to complete pickups and deliveries to our various LTL customer locations.

You will be home daily, Monday-Friday, with overtime after 40 hours and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, PTO and annual holidays. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to start or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain TSA security clearance.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
• Perform lift gate deliveries when needed and load/unload at stops.
• Ensure security and safety of tractor and freight per FMCSA rules.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
