Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Syracuse, New York. This role operates a day cab tractor with a 48’ or 53’ trailer to complete pickups and deliveries to our various LTL customer locations.

Earn $35.50 per hour with weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit and overtime after 40 hours. Home daily, Monday-Friday, with modern day cab tractors and a full benefits package including vacation, PTO, holidays, medical, dental,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required to start.
• Hazmat endorsement is required to start, tanker endorsement for start or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• DOT medical card must be current (non-excepted).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete pickups and deliveries to various locations.
• Perform lift gate deliveries, unloading and loading at stops as needed.
• Ensure tractor and freight security; follow FMCSA safety regulations.
• Build relationships through excellent communication with customers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
