Estes Express Lines in Bangor, ME is seeking a qualified truck driver to safely operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies. You will perform safety inspections, manage documentation, and assist with dock loading/unloading as needed.

The role requires a Class A CDL, FMCSA compliance, and the ability to work in varied terrain and weather while delivering professional service to customers and the public.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and 1 year driving experience per FMCSA.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Residence within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer per FMCSA requirements.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb).
• Push/pull loaded pallet jack/hand truck (min 70 lbs).
• Physical abilities include lifting, standing, twisting, climbing.
• Coupling trailers, dropping/hooking; cranking landing gear (65 lbs).
• Provide an acceptable MVR; familiarity with state/FMCSA rules.
• Pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Speak/read English as FMCSA requirements.
• Lift ~70 lbs. or more as needed.
• Drive all routes/terrains and varied weather conditions.
• Operate safety/operational functions of equipment.
• Comply with company policies; work well individually or in teams.
• Able to work under tight deadlines; read and interpret documents.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and random tests; background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
