Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a professional CDL A driver to operate tractor-trailers in compliance with FMCSA regulations. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, manage logs, and ensure safe transport of freight across diverse terrains and weather conditions.

Responsibilities include secure cargo, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain safety and customer service standards. Ability to meet physical requirements and work flexible schedules is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Must reside within operating area and meet FMCSA requirements
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test
• Able to meet English language FMCSA requirements
• Strong safety record and ability to lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely across various routes and terrains
• Comply with FMCSA, state, and local regulations
• Maintain required logs and records
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure cargo and protect equipment and load integrity
• Communicate with supervision on maintenance and route issues
• Load/unload freight and assist on dock as needed
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
