Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC in Phoenix operates a Local CDL-A yard and shuttle driver role with home daily. You will run bakery shuttle loops, yard switching, and occasional local store deliveries, staying active and paid for every hour worked.

The night-shift position requires 50-mile radius living, valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and reliable recent OTR or local driving experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and an active DOT medical card (as per the ad).
• No more than 4 driving jobs in the past 12 months, and zero major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• At least 6 months of Class A OTR experience within the last year, OR 12 months within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Haul short-distance shuttles between bakery plant and distribution warehouse (approx. 7 miles).
• Perform yard switching and ensure trailers are locked and sealed before moving.
• Back-up store deliveries when shuttles slow down to keep hours steady.
