Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC in the Phoenix area seeks a Local CDL-A Yard & Shuttle Driver for home daily runs on a dedicated bakery fleet. You’ll shuttle between the plant and distribution center, with solo work from day one and no trainees.

Expect a fast-paced, zero-margin operation with close adherence to schedule. You’ll earn $21.50/hour base, plus $45 per stop unload pay, and about $1,300 gross weekly on this account.

Qualifications

• No trainees allowed; must have solo driving experience.
• 6 months of OTR in last year or 12 months in last 5 years.
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle between plant and distribution center on a short-haul route.
• Perform yard switching, trailer swapping, sealing, and locking at both locations.
• Handle live loads and manual unloads using a liftgate.
• Maintain safety and compliance during night shifts and back-up runs.
