Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to service the Portland and Salem areas with occasional runs into Washington. Earn weekly pay between $1,400 and $1,800 and a $5,000 bonus, with a mix of drop-and-hook, live load, and live unload freight.

You will work in a dedicated intermodal role with home daily time and flexible shift patterns. HazMat endorsement is optional and can bring additional pay; drivers must meet DOT requirements and be able to cross into Washington when

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Must be at least 22 years old.
No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements.
Must be willing to cross into Washington when required.
HazMat endorsement not required, but available for additional pay.
Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving and required documentation.

Responsibilities

Local, dedicated intermodal operations around Portland, Salem, with occasional Washington freight.
Home daily with daily shifts (day/night) and varying schedules.
No driver-assist unloading; intermodal container freight with drop-and-hook/live load/unload.
Operate primarily short-haul freight; responsibilities include safe cargo handling and compliance.
