Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver for daily home time in the Portland–Salem corridor, with occasional Washington freight. You will handle intermodal container moves, typically without driver-assisted unloading, and earn weekly pay between $1,400 and $1,800 plus a $5,000 bonus.

The role covers local OR freight with occasional WA runs; requires a Class A CDL and at least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate dedicated intermodal routes with drop-and-hook and live load/unload where required.
• Perform primarily short-haul container moves in the Portland/Salem region with occasional Washington work.
• Adhere to DOT and company safety policies; no driver-assist unloading on most runs.
