Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver with home daily schedules in Minneapolis. This role features nightly shifts, consistent freight, and potential extra workdays based on volume.

Earn an average weekly pay of $1,550–$1,650 plus a $5,000 bonus and up to $1,000/year safety bonus. Expect about 1,175 miles weekly with 50/50 load types and occasional Hazmat reimbursement upon proof of receipts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Comfortable working overnight and capable of slip-seat operations.
• No SAP Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal container freight.
• Approximately 1,175 miles per week.
• 50% drop & hook, 50% live freight.
• Intermodal chassis/container freight.
• Approximately 5% reefer/TCI freight.
• Freight volume may allow extra workdays.
