Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to run home daily with a Monday–Friday schedule and a night start around 9:00 PM.

This role carries about 1,175 miles per week, 100% container/chassis freight, with a $5,000 bonus and safety/exception pay opportunities.

New hires average around $1,403 per week in the first 3–6 months; annual pay targets are $80,000–$85,000 with paid time off accrual starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to follow no-smoking policy inside trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal freight routes.
• Work ~50 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
• Start around 9:00 PM.
• Handle 100% container/chassis freight.
• Comply with no-smoking policy inside trucks.
